Basketball in Louisville, Kentucky

Saw Aaron Mathews play in a tournment in Florence, Kentucky. One of the best players all round in not only his age group but in the older age group. If he keeps improving like the way he is he is a future Division 1 college basketball prospect. Needs to work on his shot but can get to the rack anytime he wants to and for his size he can handle the ball like noone else. Big weekend for Bryant Conder and Lanesville

Friday night, Bryant scored 19 points, 4 assists 4 reb, 2 steals in Lanesville's win over New Washington in overtime. Saturday, Bryant scored 25 points 3 reb, 2 steals, 6 deflections and 6 assists in a 62-49 win over Rock Creek.

Game one pitted (11-7) Edmonson County against (15-3) Lyon County. This game was very competitive until the fourth quarter. Edmonson star junior guard Cody Rich controlled the game with his scoring and rebound. Rich ended up with 31pts and 15rbs. Lyon County try to stay in game but their three point shooting was atrocious, with the team going 1 for 16.

6th Monticello Bank Classic Dec 27-31 2008

Out of all the holiday tournaments we were schedule to attend we decided to attend a small tournament in southeastern KY. As you know the 2009 class is almost locked up. Some of the top programs are scrambling to find that late bloomer or unknown gem. We have been informed of a senior point guard that was tearing up the state of KY.
